Rosé pairs with 41% Milk Chocolate.
Rosé can be a lovely dry pink wine! Contrary to popular opinion Rosé does not always mean sweet. This wine is often crafted from Pinot Noir, Gamay, Syrah, Mouvedre, Grenache and Zinfandel to name a few. The pink color comes from the amount of time the grape skins are in contact with the juice once it is extracted. Rosé can have a lovely mineral finish with stone fruit and citrus accents on the pallet making it an excellent pairing for our milky chocolates.
We have selected the 41% Cocoa for its creamy milky texture with hints of caramel balancing the bright minerals in Rosé. The balance allows the wine to smoothly flow over the palate and finish with a bright citrus effervescence.
Pairing by Wine Lover’s Chocolate Sommelier Olivia Lizotte of Brix22 Fine Wine Brokers and Exporters.
