Thread Feathers "Oakville" Cabernet Sauvignon 2020 Napa Valley

Sourced from grapes from the Ashe Vineyard located just south of Oakville Crossroads. 

Winemaking:

Grapes were harvested at night, hand sorted and de-stemmed. After a 7-day cold soak, and 2 week fermentation with gentle maceration the wine was moved into French oak, 50% new oak. The wine aged for 16 months before bottling

Tasting Notes:

This wine offers full-bodied intensity within a classic framework of red and black currant, cherry and cassis. Robustly built in tannin and well-integrated oak, it has earthy elements of cedar, sage and graphite, with a lasting note of mocha.
