The Spinazze family produces all estate-grown Prosecco crafted from100% Glera grapes. The winery, which happens to be 100% solar-powered, is ideally situated in Treviso where the grapes arrive in pristine condition, a critical factor in producing top-notch sparkling wine. Short and sweet, this is quality bubbles, not some mass-produced commodity-level sparkling wine. You can taste the difference.

Santomè Extra Dry Prosecco presents a fine and persistent mousse from the moment it is poured into the glass. The color is a shimmering pale straw yellow. On the nose, the wine offers intense notes of fresh-cut green apple and wildflowers. It is light, crisp, and refreshing, with superb balance that is quite impressive for a wine at this price point. The finish here is long and clean, with the notes of wildflower and apple lingering through to the close. Santomè Extra Dry makes for a great cocktail sparkler, but will also work quite nicely as an accompaniment to a broad range of entrées from take-home Thai cuisine to ceviché to a spread of fine Italian cheese.
