Crimson with clove aromas then graphite minerality and chocolate with cassis, this blend is concentrated and dense, velvety with firm acidity and slightly warming finish. Still not totally integrated at the moment, yet ambitious and refined, with milk chocolate finish. It confirms the importance of Merlot in the 2018 vintage.
 

Winemaker Notes

Purple in appearance, it exhibits a bouquet redolent of wild berry preserves, lifted by smooth notes of spice. On the palate, it is beautifully balanced and delicious, with supple, velvety tannins.

Ideal pairing with ravioli with duck ragout, grilled lamb chops, roasted pork.
