Cépage: 100% Nebbiolo

Tasting notes: Ruby red with orange highlights.  Floral, rose and berries with a light spice finish.  Intense, full-bodied flavor with a lasting finish.

Technical note: Fermentation is carried out in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks, lasting between 8-10 days to keep the concentration of fruit and complexity. Aging 6-8
months in Slavonian oaks.

From The Winery: The estate was established in 1890, covering an area of around 9 hectares. The winery has been family-run ever since. All vineyards are owned and located in the small village of Neive, a medieval town that is part of a UNESCO zone due to its beautiful hills and breathtaking views of Barbaresco.

Poderi Elia wines are a result of the territory. Attention to the local terroir and unique characteristics of the native varieties is at the core of who they are. They use traditional winemaking methods without filtering or clarification. They believe that excellent wine comes only from excellent grapes. Low yields per hectar and the harvests are made by hand undergoing a careful selection process.
