Winery Notes: The growing season was well set up with a dry winter followed by good rainfall throughout Spring and up to the new year. Dry and hot conditions were experienced throughout January and February, with temperatures warmer than average. A heat wave late in February pulled the trigger on picking the fruit, which in our case was brought in right on time, with the wine showing wonderful fresh and rich fruit flavors and tannin structure.
