Monviert Martagona Chardonnay 2021 Friuli Colli Orientali - Italy

Monviert is a family owned and run winery in the north-east of Italy. This is a light, fruity and very approachable unoaked Chardonnay.  A yellow straw color with hints of green with a delicate and fresh mouthfeel and notes of apple and tropical fruit. 

An ideal aperitif, it also works well with starters, fish dishes and shellfish. After harvesting the grapes are de-stemmed, pressed and fermented in stainless steel containers. This is followed by ageing in stainless steel tanks for 3-4 months.
