"This white offers a complex mix of lime sherbet, makrut lime leaf, lemon curd and orange blossom flavors that are fragrant and complex on a fleshy, succulent frame, with notes of nectarine and ripe Crenshaw melon. Harmonious, with a fresh thread of acidity on the finish."

"The producer’s perennially favorite white shines again in stone fruit flavors — a mix of apricot and sweet peach. Tropical companions in the form of pineapple and banana add weight and richness, contributing to a creamy, lush palate of goodness and grace."

"The 2019 Sauvignon Blanc is a jewel of a wine. Bright, aromatic and chiseled, the 2019 bristles with energy. This translucent Sauvignon Blanc has so much to offer. Lemon confit, white flowers, crushed rocks and mint extend the intense, mineral finish beautifully."

"The 2019 Sauvignon Blanc opens from youthful yeasty tones to fresh citrus and green tropical fruits. The medium-bodied palate is notable for the intensity of its spicy fruits and bright freshness, and it finishes with an anchoring touch of texture."

"Aged sur lie for four months in 18% new French oak, the floral components we have come to love from this wine, year after year, do not disappoint. An English garden shows off a luxury of scents and flavors, white petals scattered on a bright Spring day. Juicy pear and white peach are enhanced by a hint of guava. Lush on the mouth, with an inherent crispness from this variety."

"This oh-so tasty rendition is both deep and layered, and while it does show grassy varietal influences, it also comes with unusual richness both from the grapes as well as from a streak of toasty oak. Full on the palate and yet not at all heavy, this well-stuffed bottling is balanced in all its pieces, if a bit weightier than most of its peers. Long, structured and inviting now, it will hold up well in the bottle for the next few years."

"Aromas of nutmeg, melon and white peach. Weightly but balanced mouthfeel, combining disparate flavours of pecan oil, cheese rind, oregano and vanilla bean. Opulent on the mid-palate before landing on the finish with a pointed acidity that integrates with time in the glass. Strikes a stylistic midpoint between bright, creamy and aromatically exuberant."

"Over the years Merry Edwards has developed a sterling reputation for their Sauvignon Blanc. This new 2019 edition showcases beeswax and honeydew melon tones woven together with shades of apricot and Pink Lady apple aromas that all impress. The palate is soft and beautifully textured, with just a kiss of sweetness. Layers of ripe orchard fruits and minerals mingle with earthy undertones on the palate. The depth and concentration here is seriously good, as this beautiful new Sauvignon Blanc will cellar well over the next six to eight years."

"The light-hued 2019 Sauvignon Blanc Russian River Valley offers a pretty, perfumed, incredibly juicy and fruit-forward style as well as lots of peach, citrus, and honeyed flower aromas and flavors. It's clean and has good acidity, medium body, and a great finish. It's certainly an outstanding Sauvignon Blanc."

"Citrus blossom, key lime pie and spiced apple cake with a gorgeous plush mid-palate with white nectarine flavors that remind me of the fantastic ones where you bite into them and the juice runs down your chin; marked acidity balances the weighty palate that has a long expressive finish that goes on and on!"

"Pale lemon color. Gorgeous fruit on the nose (grapefruit, kiwi, green apple), topped in chalk dust, fresh mountain stream, and complex elements of honeysuckle, mint and sage. Zippy acidity frames the wine so well, balanced with deep texture, and plenty of salty, minerals, mountain stream tones. The lime, kiwi and ruby red grapefruit is juicy but tangy, and it all works well over these floral perfume, white pepper, cucumber slices, honey and chalk dust. I’ve tasted this wine a lot over the years, and there’s something about this vintage. Phenomenal stuff."
