Maculan Dindarello Bianco Passito 2018 375ml Veneto - Italy

100% Moscato Giallo, an aromatic native grape of North-Eastern Italy known to be the offspring Moscato Bianco (the one used in Piemonte). Unlike its parent, Moscato Giallo (known as Goldenmuskateller in Alto Adige), has a markedly thick, yellow skin, and takes air-drying very well, delivering wines of greater complexity. It is also known as “Orange Blossom Moscato”, due to its intense flowery notes. After a manual harvest, the grapes are air-dried in-door for one month, then crushed and fermented in temp-controlled stainless steel vats. After the fermentation, the wine is filtered and bottled, and released after 3 months of bottle-aging.

Bright yellow in color, Dindarello is Maculan’s introduction to the world of their sweet wines. Intensely sweet and fruity, but complicated by a refreshing acidity and a clean finish, Dindarello offers a variety of tropical fruit aromas, followed by white flowers, and acacia honey notes. We recommend to pair it with fruit tarts, apple pies, and Chantilly cream beignets.
