Juan Gil Honora "Irreverent" Vera Red Blend 2020 Jumilla - Spain

Honoro Vera Irreverent Red Blend (Jumilla) is a blend of Garnacha, Syrah and Monastrell planted on sandy, lime soils at 2000-3000 ft above sea level. Each varietal is fermented separately and aged 4 months in French and American oak.

TASTING NOTES: Lively and enticing, this red blend impresses with ripe plum favors and plush texture. Hints of dried figs and round tannins lend the wine depth, while crisp acidity and a peppery finish make
each sip truly satisfying. Terrifc value.

VINEYARDS: The 15 year old vineyard of Syrah are in trellis system, and the 25 to 35 year old vineyards of Monastrell and Garnacha are in drought tolerant vineyards in the goblet or bush vine system.
