Tasting Notes: In the glass, a dark ruby core with an opaque finish. Aromas are led by blackberry preserves, along with hints of tobacco and baking spice plus a kiss of mint. The mouthfeel is juicy and complex, with silky tannins and a long-lasting finish. An enchanting old-vine Zinfandel!

From The Winery: This ancient-vine Zin—an extraordinary, small-production rarity culled from vines as old as 140 years—was not searching for publicity, or even necessarily sales. Farmed by a single family off one of the most historic vineyards in Alexander Valley, yields are TINY, making it virtually impossible to find.
