2020 marked the Centennial Year of a woman's right to vote, so we raise a glass of The Suffragette Pinot Noir to the everyday heroes who took the movement to victory!

TASTING NOTES: Suffragette opens with bright aromas of raspberry, cranberry and hibiscus. Silky
smooth and juicy on the palate, the wine offers a lingering finish of red fruit and
subtle cherry cola hints. The 2021 Suffragette is vibrant and expressive with
elegant flavors and crisp acidity.

WINEMAKER NOTES: Our Pinot Noir grapes were harvested late in the evening and into the wee hours,
when they are at their coolest temperature thus preserving their crisp acidity and delicate fruit flavors. The grapes were de-stemmed, cold soaked and kept as whole rather than crushed berries in order to enhance the lush berry flavors in the wine.

The juice was fermented on the skins for five to seven days, with care taken to avoid extracting any harsh tannin from the seeds or skins. A touch of Syrah was used to enhance the color and structure of the wine, enhancing the supple character and finish length.
