Cépage: 100% Aligoté
Tasting Notes: Bourgogne Aligoté is a dry, still white wine with fresh, floral aromas (green apple, lemon). The palate is predominantly tangy, sought after for its easy-drinking, fresh character.
Terroir: Bourgogne Aligoté is a regional appellation produced throughout the Burgundy region (Côte d'Or, Yonne, Saône et Loire). The Aligoté grape variety used is a very old Burgundian grape variety. Our Bourgogne Aligoté is produced in the commune of Puligny-Montrachet.
Pairings: Charcuterie (rillettes, Burgundy parsley ham), grilled fish, seafood (oysters), Burgundy snails. As an aperitif you can enjoy it with Dijon crème de cassis and you will obtain the famous Kir named after its inventor, the chamoine Kir, former deputy mayor of Dijon. Bourgogne Aligoté is a light and fruity wine and can be enjoyed outside of meals. In summer it will pleasantly accompany raw vegetables, mixed salads, and grilled meats.
