Château Phélan Ségur 2006 Saint-Estephe Bordeaux

Michel Roland becomes a consultant for Château Phélan Ségur. The 2006 vintage of Château Phélan Ségur took its time to flourish. It's done: it's a real Saint-Estèphe with a lot of character, real tannins! A serious wine! 
Grouped into four large groups, the plots adjoin, among other things, the vines of Châteaux Montrose and Calon Ségur. Planting densities are high. The grape varieties are original: the talented Médoc duo (58% Cabernet Sauvignon and 39% Merlot) is completed with a touch of Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot (1.5% for each). Cabernet Sauvignon, the king of the Médoc grape, brings incomparable power and structure: it is the backbone of the Grand Vin.
